How to Set Up the Epson EcoTank ET-2400: A Simple Guide
Setting up the Epson EcoTank ET-2400 is a lot easier than it sounds. If you’re like me and not super tech-savvy, don’t worry – this process is quick, straightforward, and doesn’t require any complicated steps. Here’s a step-by-step guide or check out my YouTube video to help you get started with your new printer:
1. Unbox the Printer
First things first, carefully take everything out of the box. In the box, you should have:
- Epson ET-2400 printer
- Power cord
- Replacement ink bottles
- Setup guide
- CD for driver installation (if needed)
Make sure you have all the items and that nothing is missing or damaged. Set everything aside for now and find a nice, flat space to place your printer.
2. Connect the Power Cord
Plug the power cord into the back of the printer and the other end into an outlet. Make sure the printer is positioned near your output tray and where you’ll be doing most of your printing. Now, press the power button to turn the printer on.
3. Fill the Refillable Ink Tanks
Here’s where the innovative cartridge-free solution shines. Unlike traditional individual ink cartridges, the EcoTank printer uses refillable ink tanks. To fill them:
- Open the ink tank cover on the printer.
